Your idea doesn’t have to start with a large stock of products. We customise selected T-shirts, hoodies, caps and accessories for your brand. Suitable basics, small runs and coordinated repeat orders help you find out what your customers like.
You can start with just a few styles or designs, including additions to an existing range. Your own shop can remain your sales channel if that suits you.
Discuss your collection
Brand on Demand means producing to match demand.
We select existing blank garments and products as a starting point. Your design, logo or suitable customisation turns these blanks into part of your collection. You don’t need to develop a complete fashion line or change your entire range.
Depending on the project, we produce a small first run, group incoming orders or agree ordering rounds. Successful styles can be added to later, provided the blank products and customisation remain available.
Less finished stock to finance upfront
A manageable start can reduce your stock risk, though it doesn’t remove it entirely. Samples, setup, minimum quantities and later additions need to make financial sense for the idea.
On demand doesn’t automatically mean producing every single item immediately. Sometimes a grouped ordering round is the better choice.
A few good basics are a sensible start.
To begin, we recommend a small selection your customers will actually want to wear or use. Fit, feel, colour and customisation should work together.
Garments as a starting point
A suitable T-shirt or hoodie can be enough to test a design. Different fits are possible, but shouldn’t make the initial selection unnecessarily large. We look specifically at neutral or label-free styles if other branding gets in the way of resale.
Compare garments and fitsCaps, beanies and bags as additions
Headwear can also be the starting point for a brand. On caps, the front panel, seams and design help determine whether print, embroidery or a patch is suitable. A bag can extend the range without adding clothing sizes.
Explore caps and customisationPrint, flock, embroidery or a patch changes a product’s character. We recommend the method based on design, material, quantity and desired effect. Samples and additional services are agreed in advance, not assumed to be free.
From customisation to shop and logistics.
You decide how much support suits your collection. We can handle customisation while you sell through your own webshop, a boutique or at events. Or we can develop a more complete workflow together.
A presence and ordering option in the Fabrik4 shop, plus support with packaging and shipping, are possible extensions too. We’re currently developing this area and testing the workflows in pilot projects, including Sunset Beatz.
Together, we agree which elements you want to use: from grouped ordering rounds to a suitable shop and logistics setup. Scope, technical connections, costs and responsibilities are clearly defined before starting.

Define the idea and demand
Who is the collection for? What would you like to offer, roughly how many and by when? A design, an existing shop or a few reference images help us get started.
Choose styles and customisation
We narrow down blank products, fits, colours and methods. Then we clarify minimum quantities, sensible run sizes and costs for samples, setup and production.
Review and approve the details
Artwork, design size and placement are agreed. Where fit, colour or feel are crucial, we arrange a sample. Production starts after the agreed approval.
Collect demand and produce
We produce the approved run or ordering round. Timing, collection or delivery to the agreed address are confirmed for that order.
Record the agreed specification
Style, colour, design and finish remain documented. For the next round, we check availability, quantity, price and timing again. If an item is discontinued, we discuss a suitable alternative.
Your own collection can take many forms.

KYST: one brand across several products
At KYST, selected garments and headwear share a common design language. Samples and documented specifications with flock, embroidered patches, leather badges or labels form the basis for small runs and later additions.

Hotel Anker Luzern: hoodies for the boutique and team
One product can serve more than one purpose. The Hotel Anker hoodies were made for boutique sales and for the team. Sampling, DTF printing and documented colour and size runs are part of this project.

Sunset Beatz: collecting demand together
T-shirts, hoodies, sherpas and caps show how a club collection can work across several styles. With Sunset Beatz, we’re testing demand-based ordering rounds. This is a managed process, not a fully automatic ordering and shipping system.

Can I make just some products from my range with you?
Yes. An additional T-shirt, a cap or a few designs can be a good starting point. We don’t need to take over your entire range or replace existing suppliers.
Is Brand on Demand available from one item?
Not as a blanket rule. Whether one item is possible and worthwhile depends on the product, design and method. Setup and sourcing matter too. We review your quantity and tell you whether a small run or grouped orders would be more economical.
Can I sell the products in my own shop?
Yes. Your own shop, boutique or event sales can work alongside our customisation. If you want extra support, we discuss suitable options for order handling, shop and logistics. You choose the scope that fits your project.
What costs should I allow for beyond the finished item?
Depending on the project, costs may include samples, artwork preparation, setup, special finishes, packaging and shipping. We clarify the scope before approval. The unit price of a small top-up may differ from that of a larger run.
Can I use my own labels or tags?
We look at label-free or neutrally branded styles and suitable label or patch options. What’s possible depends on the blank product, desired branding and quantity. Your own label is not automatically included with every item.
How quickly can I reorder?
We confirm timing after checking the blank product, quantity, customisation and production schedule. The documented specification makes preparation easier but does not guarantee permanent availability or a fixed delivery time for every repeat order.
Do I need to store and distribute the products myself?
That depends on the agreed workflow. Small runs and grouped orders can reduce finished stock. Storage by Fabrik4, individual shipping and returns handling are not automatically included. We agree in advance where the finished goods go and who distributes them.
Are the clothes made in Switzerland?
Regional customisation does not automatically mean the blank garment is Swiss-made. Fabrik4 customises in Buttisholz. The origin and material of the chosen blank are considered separately and clarified before ordering where needed.
Advice & production
You do not need to know the printing solution yet. Bring your idea and we will work through the practical details with you.
- Ideas and AI mockups are welcome
- An AI-generated concept can be a useful starting point. We check what is feasible for the material, print area, colours and fine details with you. A mockup is not yet print-ready artwork or an approved production proof. We help you turn it into a workable design. By arrangement, we can also support written communication in other languages using AI.
- Reuse the logos and graphics we create
- If we create a logo or graphic for you, you receive the agreed final files for other applications too. We agree the formats you need and the scope of use together. Editable project files and licensed third-party elements are not automatically included.
